Time to check on my campaign for the White House, what is the Number 1 reason as to why you will vot
Colonel Jack Fessender Ret Asked: Time to check on my campaign for the White House, what is the Number 1 reason as to why you will vot Is it because I will change the letter C so it doesn't look like an Islamic crescent? Is it because I will put a complete gag order on abortion and anyone who knows how to perform one? Also because I will ban all contraceptives. Is it because I will ban the teaching of evolution and all other THEORIES in school? Is it because of my support of oil and snubbing of pansy renewable energy? Oil today, oil tomorrow, oil FOREVER. Is it because I will give out garlic necklaces to suppress the spread of the gay? Is it because I will give out guns to everyone? Is it because I will restore pre-existing conditions to their rightful place? Or is it because of something else? You will vote for me. FACT.

IF I INSTALL A 1MW SOLAR POWER PLANT HOW MUCH KILLO WATT HOUR I CAN GET PER MONTH IN PRACTICAL SITUA
Arunbalaji Asked: IF I INSTALL A 1MW SOLAR POWER PLANT HOW MUCH KILLO WATT HOUR I CAN GET PER MONTH IN PRACTICAL SITUA Depends on the month of the year, the weather, and the lattitude of the plant. It can generate 1 megawatt of power when exposed to full direct sunlight, based on the definition of a 1MW solar power plant. So, for the purpose of showing you the formula, I will take the case of the month of July in New Mexico, US. That means 31 days of full sunlight (NM has dry weather), with at least 12 hours per of usable sunlight. That means 1,000 kilo watts X 12 hrs/day X 31 days = 372,000 kilowatt-hours of energy produced. Take another case, January in Alaska, US. Weather factors means you have partial cloud cover for 12 days, full cover for 10 days, and no cover for 8 days. (Not real numbers, just as an example). That far north, the days are 4 hours long in January. P= 1,000 kilo watts X 4 hrs/day X (12 days * 50% power + 8 days) = 56,000 kilowatt-hours So, to boil it down, you multiply 1MW of power X equivalent hours [...]

Will Germany succeed with their renewable energy policy?
Lincoln08 Asked: Will Germany succeed with their renewable energy policy? I have changed my mind a few times on this after reading conflicting articles.I keep getting the feeling that there is a "small print" somewhere with renewables like wind.Don't get me wrong I would love a solar panel and wind turbine at home to play around with but I read the average load factor for wind turbines is 30% and then decreases to around 16% with more installations (windy areas get taken first) and are expensive. Anyway, just looking for some other opinions and facts to or for renewables or just wind as I think that is the most important one.
