I bought/built a small solar powered charger for my iPod, but apparently it's not supported. I have a jail broken iPod 4g iOS 5. Any ideas? Or cydia apps?

Hi this is a very good question. I am an hotelier from Italy north of italy the region Emilia Romagna " Adriatic Coast" in Cattolica my hotel i s the Hotel Senior (www.hotelsenior.it) In the last few years the technology of solar power has increased a lot, and companies are trying to promote more and more this new way of energy. I have made several quotation from different companies to try and refill the hotel with completely solar panel energy.
First of all all the 4 companies I asked they said that the project was possible only in part because the solar panel can't guarantee a full hotel with hot water central heating or air conditioning and more. They have suggested a part in solar panel and the part still with the same system.
Number 2 the cost…which even though from the beginning has decreased is still high for not having confirmation of the installation. For houses is slightly different smaller place less to heat but for hotels at the moment even though I believe in this because is the future and it would help the whole system in not consuming gas and us in new clean energy.
I even asked if i could only heat my swimming pool with solar panel but even there they would not be enough to produce and guarantee a complete function by themselves!!!!
I hope time will help with better performances, i believe if prices would be less more and more people would turn over to solar panel, but most of the times these things yes they are good but they cost too much and people especially now with the great economics difficulty, but I am sure things will improve!
